Voistay understands that business communications and related data are sensitive. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, protect, and share information in connection with Voistay services, our customer portal at my.voistay.com, and any Voistay-provided hardware.

Call Detail Records including originating and destination numbers, call duration, time of day, and call routing information.

Device and network data including IP addresses, device models, firmware versions, and connection quality metrics.

Location information provided by the customer for static emergency 911 routing purposes.

Voistay uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain user sessions within our management portal and to analyze website usage. This data may include browser type, operating system, and page interaction metrics.

Telecommunications Data and CPNI

As a telecommunications provider, Voistay collects and protects Customer Proprietary Network Information. CPNI includes information related to the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, and amount of use of telecommunications services.

Voistay protects CPNI in accordance with applicable Federal Communications Commission regulations.

Voistay does not use CPNI for marketing purposes or disclose it to third parties for advertising without the customer’s explicit consent, except as permitted or required by law.

How We Use Data

Voistay uses customer data solely for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

Provisioning phone numbers, routing calls, and maintaining network operations.

Monitoring for security threats, toll fraud, or unauthorized access.

Processing billing, usage charges, and account payments.

Meeting regulatory and legal obligations, including routing emergency calls to the appropriate public safety answering points.

Data Sharing Practices

Voistay does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Data may be shared only with the following parties:

Downstream telecommunications carriers and network partners required to route and terminate calls.

Service providers that support billing, tax calculation, emergency services, and infrastructure, all of whom are subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Law enforcement, regulatory agencies, or industry traceback organizations when required by valid legal process or to comply with applicable telecommunications regulations.

Your Rights and Data Requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data.

Data Retention and Security

Retention Periods

Billing and financial records are retained for seven years to satisfy tax and audit requirements.

Call Detail Records are typically retained for twelve months.

Voice recordings, if enabled by the customer, are retained for thirty days unless an extended storage option is active.

Security Measures

Voistay employs industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect customer data. Encryption is used for data in transit and, where applicable, for data stored within Voistay systems. Access to customer information is limited to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need.

Protection of Minors

Voistay provides business-to-business services only. Our services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of eighteen. Voistay does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.

International Data Processing

Voistay is headquartered in the United States. In connection with international call routing or service delivery, customer data may be processed in other jurisdictions. Where required by applicable law, Voistay relies on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards to protect such data.

Policy Updates

Voistay may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of Voistay services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
